My teaching journey and philosophy
Discover my passion for dance education, from diverse styles and age groups to my commitment to fostering confident and skilled dancers.

My journey as a dance teacher
My journey as a dance teacher has allowed me to work with a wide range of ages and abilities, teaching students from age 3 through to adults. I have experience teaching ISTD Ballet, Tap and Modern, as well as Contemporary, Commercial, Musical Theatre, Acro, Heels and Pilates. I enjoy creating supportive and engaging classes that help dancers develop confidence, technique, creativity and performance skills, whether they are beginners starting their dance journey or more experienced performers continuing their training.

My unique teaching style
My teaching style combines strong technical training with a supportive, encouraging and energetic environment where dancers feel comfortable to grow in confidence and express themselves creatively. I focus on making classes engaging and enjoyable while still helping students develop performance quality, discipline and individuality. I adapt my teaching to suit different ages, abilities and learning styles, ensuring every dancer feels included, challenged and proud of their progress.

Proud moments and student success
One of my proudest moments as a teacher is seeing my students perform confidently on stage and watching how much they grow both as dancers and as individuals. I’m currently supporting my first group of exam students through their ISTD Grade 2 Modern exam, which has been incredibly rewarding to see their hard work, confidence and technique develop over time. Beyond dance itself, I’m most proud of seeing students grow into kind, confident and hardworking young people, knowing I’ve played a small part in their journey.
